This edition of the OPODIS conference will take place in Cortina d'Ampezzo, a marvelous village in Italy.

The resort is part of Dolomiti Superski, the largest ski carousel in the world, which unites 12 ski areas with a single skipass that gives access to 450 lifts and 1200km of slopes. If you travel from outside Italy, your best option is to take a flight to Venice "Marco Polo" airport. Once there you can catch a CortinaExpress bus that will leave you at the very heart of Cortina d'Ampezzo, 400meters far from the hotel. The bus travel will last 2.5h approximately. Tickets can be purchased in advance on CortinaExpress website where you'll also find info on timetables and fares. A similar service is offered by ATVO as well: check the timetables on their website.

Passports & Visa
Every person entering Italy should have a valid passport and/or personal ID. Depending of your country of origin you may also need to apply for a Visa. Check the following webpage from the Italian Foreign Office or contact the nearest Italian Embassy or Consulate in your country for further information. The conference will take place at the Splendid Hotel Venezia, a 4 star hotel located at the heart of Cortina d'Ampezzo. It sports spectacular views of the Tofane and Crystal mountains, it is centrally positioned , a few tens of meters from the pedestrian area, very close to ski lifts and trails for excursions.
